Gr. στερ-εός solid + ἑλµινθ-, ἕλµινς intestinal worm) + -ous.] Of or pertaining to the Sterelmintha, Owen's name for a division of the Entozoa comprising the endoparasitic worms having a solid body with no visceral cavity.
