It affirmed the continuity of the Church with early Christianity and strove to restore the High-Church ideals of the 17th century. Its views were publicized in a series of tracts (Tracts for the Times) 1833–41. The teaching and practices of the Movement are maintained in the High-Church tradition within the Church of England
