When a person is resettled, they've uprooted their lives from one place and settled, or made their homes, in a completely new one — often in an entirely different country. You can also use this adjective for non-human animals that have changed habitats: "Though the birds usually build their nests in the city park, we saw some resettled birds over near the river."
