Upper parts brownish grey tinged with olive; forehead, lore, and breast red, the red edged with ash-grey; abdomen white.

It is not transparent, but it is of many colours—that is to say, white, yellowish, ash-grey, brown, black, green, blue, reddish or red.

The walls were covered with wainscoting of veined maple, blue-grey, purple in places, ash-grey, and pink-grey, covering half the height of the room.
