Urgent action is needed to deal with the "triple whammy" hitting care homes and domiciliary care companies, the chairman of Care Forum Wales has said.

It asks why many people have to be assessed as "critical" before receiving any care, and also queries the pay and training of domiciliary staff.

He said they had blocked water rates and protected free prescriptions, lower rates, lower student fees, free travel for pensioners and domiciliary care.
