- the largest cinema and theatre in the world, with more than 6 000 seats. It is in Rockefeller Center in New York. It combines films with stage performances by the famous dancers, the Rockettes. Radio City Music Hall opened in 1932. It was due to close in 1979 but stayed open because of public demand.
