Peter Ustinov

- (1921-2004) an English actor, writer and film director. He was best known for playing unusual characters, e.g. in Death on the Nile (1978), in which he played the detective Hercule Poirot. He was also admired for telling funny stories on stage and television and for his ability to copy many different foreign accents. Ustinov wrote several plays and novels. He was made a knight in 1990.
