Studs Lonigan

- a character in three novels by the US writer James Farrell. They are Young Lonigan (1932), The Young Manhood of Studs Lonigan (1934) and Judgement Day (1935). Lonigan is a good man who struggles to succeed in the 1920s in the poor Irish district of South Side, Chicago.
