The events include among others Glyndebourne, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon tennis championships, Henley Royal Regatta, the horse races at Goodwood House, Cowes Week and the Lord's test match (= international cricket match). Members of the royal family attend some of the events, and tickets are often expensive and difficult to get.
