An infantry regiment originally formed of Cameronians and other Presbyterians in 1689 to fight for William III against the Jacobites.
- From 1750 the regiment was officially known as the 26th Regiment of Foot. It was amalgamated with the 90th Perthshire Light Infantry in 1881 and disbanded in 1968..
