- Miniature Jacob Sheep are one of several multi horned breeds. Both the rams and ewes are horned. Commonly the horns are seen in even sets of 2 or 4 though uneven sets are also seen.
- The Jacob sheep takes its name from a story in the Book of Genesis, which relates how Jacob became a selective breeder of pied sheep to give you a sense of how long this breed has been extant.
