释义	Hama /ˈhɑːmə / (also Hamah) An industrial city in western Syria, on the River Orontes; population 531,000 (est. 2009). It was the centre of an Aramaean kingdom in the 11th century bc. Much of the modern city was destroyed during an unsuccessful uprising against the government in 1982.
