A red wine produced in the commune of Vosne-Romanée in the department of Côte d'Or in eastern France. Also more fully La Romanée.
- Also in the names of two other similar wines from the same commune, Romanée-Conti and Romanée-Saint-Vivant (so called after the names of their respective vineyards)..

Early 19th century; earliest use found in The Monthly Review. From French Romanée from Romanée, the name of the village where the wine is produced.
