In full rangpur lime. A small tree or shrub of the genus Citrus (family Rutaceae), C.× limonia, which bears a fruit resembling a tart mandarin and is probably a cross between the lemon, C. limon, and the mandarin, C. reticulata.
Origin
Early 19th century; earliest use found in William Roxburgh (1751–1815), botanist. From Rangpur (Bengali Raṅgpur), the name of a city and administrative district of Bangladesh.
