释义 | money bush/ˈmʌnɪ bʊʃ/Caribbean noun Any of several shrubby leguminous plants of the Caribbean area having leaves or seed-pods that are said to resemble coins: (a) a woody vine, Dalbergia monetaria (family Fabaceae (Leguminosae)), with flat, nearly circular seed-pods ( rare ); (b) either of two shrubs of the family Caesalpiniaceae (Leguminosae) having broadly obovate leaves, Cassia bicapsularis, with racemes of yellow flowers (also called monkey tamarind, Christmas bush), and Pithecellobium unguis-cati, with ball-like heads of cream-coloured flowers (also called bread and cheese).
