(Harris), Baron Jenkins of Hillhead (1920–2003), English Labour and Social Democrat MP and scholar. A Labour MP between 1948 and 1976, he co-founded the Social Democratic Party in 1981 and represented Glasgow Hillhead 1982–7. He then became Chancellor of Oxford University.
