Definition of Moloney in English: Moloneynoun məˈləʊni Virology Attributive Designating either of two closely-related retroviruses that are oncogenic in mice, one of which (in full "Moloney leukaemia virus", "Moloney murine leukaemia virus") causes lymphomas and leukaemia, and the other of which (in full "Moloney murine sarcoma virus", "Moloney sarcoma virus") causes rhabdomyosarcomas.
