Iakovlevo

an urban-type settlement in Iakovlevo Raion, Belgorod Oblast, RSFSR. Iakovlevo is situated on the Moscow-Simferopol’ highway, 15 km west of the Sazhnoe railroad station on the Kursk-Belgorod line and 30 km north of Belgorod. A branch of the Belgorod Garment Factory is located in the settlement. In 1978 an iron mine was under construction.
