The agricultural sciences contribute to the comprehensive development and improvement of all branches of agriculture, with the goal of increasing the output of high-quality agricultural products with the minimum amount of labor and at the lowest material cost. With advances in science and technology, the agricultural sciences are becoming a direct productive force.
