F0376700 (fə-to͞o′nə, fo͞o-) also Hoorn Islands (hôrn) An island group of the southwest Pacific Ocean northeast of Fiji. Part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna, the islands were annexed by France in 1887.
