Furulya

a Hungarian wind instrument, a type of vertical flute. The ordinary furulya is 300–600 mm long and has six side finger holes; the “long” furulya is 900–1,000 mm long and has five finger holes. The furulya is made of maple wood, elder wood, or, sometimes, copper; it is played in Hungarian folk orchestras.
