Gantry Crane

 

a crane mounted on rigid supports (gantries) in the form of a bridge that moves along rails. They are used mainly for serving open warehouse areas with a large volume of work.

A revolving crane, positioned atop a movable pedestal that travels along tracks; can reach a more extensive area of a construction site than a stationary crane of similar size.
