Gliwice Canal

a ship canal in Poland linking the Upper Silesian coal basin with the Oder River system. It runs between the cities of Gliwice and Koźle. Length, about 41 km. The canal partly includes the Kłodnica River. There are six double-lift locks. The canal was built in 1933-39.
