Gilbrethian variables

[gil′breth·ē·ən ′ver·ē·ə·bəlz] (industrial engineering) A system of three sets of variables that are considered to be intrinsic to every task: variables involving the response of the worker to anatomic and psychological factors, environmental variables, and variables of motion; used in analyzing and designing work systems.
