Location:Between South 2nd St. and the Wabash River in Vincennes, Indiana.

Special Features:This classic memorial building, located near the site of old Fort Sackville, commemorates the capture of the fort from the British by Lieutenant Colonel George Rogers Clark, February 25, 1779, and the subsequent settlement of the region north of the Ohio River. The statue was sculpted by Hermon MacNeil.
