George Marshall Kay
Kay, George Marshall
Born Nov. 10, 1904, in Paisley, Ont., Canada. American geologist.
Kay graduated from Columbia University in New York in 1927 and has been a professor at the university since 1944. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the New York Academy of Sciences (vice-president in 1944–45). His basic works are on Ordovician stratigraphy (using the östracods) and the tectonics of North America.
