full-house nephropathy full-house nephropathy A term of art that refers to the simultaneous presence by immunofluorescence of IgA, IgG, IgM, C1q and C3 in the glomerular mesangium and/or capillaries, which is classically seen in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, as well as other conditions—e.g., HIV-associated immune complex glomerulonephritis and membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis type 1—in patients with a portosystemic shunt. |
