Gazimur
Gazimur
a mountain range in Eastern Transbaikalia; in Chita Oblast, RSFSR. It extends for 200 km along the right bank of the Gazimur River (Amur basin). Elevations, to 1,372 m. The range is composed of granites, gneisses, crystalline shales, and sandstones. It is covered with larch taiga and has sections of mountain steppe along the slopes of the southern exposure.
Gazimur
a river in Chita Oblast, RSFSR. Left tributary of the Argun’. Length, 592 km; basin area, 12,100 sq km. It rises in the Nerchinsk Range, flows for the most part between the Borshchovochnyi and Gazimur ranges, and is a mountain-type river. It is fed primarily by rain, and patches of ice are found in its basin.
