Geographic Society Glacier

in the upper reaches of the Vanch River, at the junction of the Academy of Sciences and Darvaz mountain ranges in the Tadzhik SSR. The glacier is 21.5 km long and has an area of approximately 82 sq km. It descends to an elevation of 2,660 m.
