Galaxy A series Galaxy A seriesA line of Android midrange smartphones from Samsung (not to be confused with the 2010 Galaxy A). The Galaxy A3 was introduced in 2014, while the A5 and A7 were added a year later. The A series is somewhat similar in design to the very popular and more expensive Galaxy S phones. However, the CPUs are slower, and there is less storage and RAM than S models. The A3 features a 4.5" screen compared to the 5.1" screens of the Galaxy S5 and S6.
