Glechoma
Glechoma a genus of plants of the Labiatae family. Plants of the Glechoma genus are perennial herbs with creeping stems and long, rooting shoots. The blossoms are lilac colored and form clusters in the axils of leaves. There are only ten to 12 species, which are distributed in the forests of the Eurasian landmass. In the USSR there are three species, of which the most widespread is G. hederacea, growing in shubbery, forests, and meadows, and as a weed near dwellings. Plants of this genus contain volatile oils and tanning substances; they are not eaten by cattle. Glechoma
