Gainy

an urban-type settlement, center of Gainy Raion, Komi-Permiak National Okrug, Perm’ Oblast, RSFSR. Landing on the right bank of the Kama River, 284 km north of the nearest railroad station, Mendeleevo, on the Perm’-Kirov line. Gainy has a mechanical repair plant, a logging and timber distribution establishment, and a butter factory.
