Dzheiranbatan

an urban-type settlement in Apsheron Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. It is located 5 km from the Sumgait railroad station on the Baku-Makhachkala line. Dzheiranbatan has a factory producing reinforced-concrete structures and a woodworking enterprise. It is the seat of the administration of the Samur-Apsheron Canal.
