Dzhangitau
Dzhangitau
(Dzhanga), a mountain peak in the central part of the Greater Caucasus, on the border between the Kabarda-Balkar ASSR and the Georgian SSR.
Dzhangitau, composed of granites, is 5,049 m high. One of the largest glaciers of the Caucasus, the Bezengi, originates in its vicinity.
