释义 | Copenhagen criteriaCopenhagen criteriathe European Council established the Copenhagen criteria in June 1993. There are three conditions, which a candidate country seeking membership has to fulfil. First there must be evidence of stable institutions guaranteeing democracy, the rule of law, human rights, and respect for and protection of minorities. Secondly there must be a functioning market economy, and thirdly a candidate country must be in a position to take on all the obligations of membership including support for the various aims of the European Union. |
