Location:Located in northern Hopkins County, in the northeast part of the state.
Facilities:Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, horseman's camp, cabins, restrooms, showers, picnic areas, picnic shelters, screened shelters, hiking trails, bike trails, bridle trails, beaches, boat ramps, fishing piers, fish cleaning station, playgrounds, game court, amphitheater.
Activities:Camping, fishing, boating, water-skiing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, birding, nature study, interpretive programs, guided tours.
Special Features:Park is located in two counties on land owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers and is operated through a lease agreement. The lake, which was completed in 1991, covers about 19,000 acres and is surrounded by thousands of acres devoted to parks and wildlife management.
