Cabanatuan a city in the Philippines, in the central part of the island of Luzon, in the province of Nueva Ecija, on the Pampanga River. Population, 95, 900 (1969). It is the commercial center of a rice-growing region on the Manila plain. This plain is known as the rice granary of the country. There are food-processing enterprises, primarily rice mills. |
