Dirac wave function

[di′rak ′wāv ‚fəŋk·shən] (quantum mechanics) A function appropriate for describing a spin ½ particle and antiparticle; it is a column matrix with four entries, each of which is a function of the space and time coordinates; the four-components form two first-rank Lorentz spinors.
