(chām'bĕr-lin), a line drawn from the posterior margin of the hard palate to the dorsum of the foramen magnum; in basilar impression, the odontoid process rises above this line.

(chām'bĕr-lăn līn) Imaginary delimit at base of skull running between the dorsal tip of the foramen magnum and the dorsal margin of the hard palate; normally lies above the tip of the odontoid process of the axis.
