Custodial CareNon-medical care given to individuals who are unable to perform activities of daily living. Examples of custodial care include helping a person dress herself, cook or feed herself, and use the bathroom. Custodial care at home is available through some private insurance plans. That is, the insurance may pay for a nurse to come to a disabled person's house and help with the activities of daily living.
