dynamic load
dynamic load[dī¦nam·ik ′lōd] (aerospace engineering) With respect to aircraft, rockets, or spacecraft, a load due to an acceleration of craft, as imposed by gusts, by maneuvering, by landing, by firing rockets, and so on. (civil engineering) A force exerted by a moving body on a resisting member, usually in a relatively short time interval.
