Chaling

a lake in the Kunlun Mountains of China, situated in a marshy trough between the Puch’ing and Bayan-Khara-Ula ranges at an elevation of about 4,200 m. It is some 600 sq km in area and reaches a depth of 8 m. The Hwang Ho in its upper reaches flows through it.
