单词 delivery price
释义

Delivery Price

Delivery Price

(Russian, sdatochnaia tsena), in the USSR, the purchase price at which sovkhozes and other state-controlled agricultural enterprises sold their products to state procurement agencies before 1975. Delivery prices were lower than the purchase prices of kolkhoz products, since increases in the fixed capital stock and circulating productive capital of sovkhozes were financed by the state. Although the abolition in 1958 of compulsory deliveries led to the abandonment of multiple prices for a single-price system (seeSTATE PURCHASES OF AGRICULTURALPRODUCTS), delivery prices remained in use. As sovkhozes converted to full profit-and-loss accounting, prices incorporating price supplements established for kolkhozes were extended to sovkhoz products sold to the state. Consequently, the concept of delivery prices has lost its significance.
