An organization in the United States that establishes and enforces ethical guidelines for actuaries. It responds to actuaries' requests for advice on how to handle a given situation. It also responds to complaints on an actuary's conduct and, if necessary, takes disciplinary action. It was established by the American Academy of Actuaries and is based in Washington, D.C.
