Facilities:Campsites with full hookups, tent camping, primitive camping, horsemen's camp, group camp, showers, restrooms, day-use group facility, picnic areas, hiking trails, nature trails, historic structure, interpretive center, amphitheater, playgrounds, game courts, ballfield, park store.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, nature study, historical interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park includes the ruins of the fort buildings, including a hand-dug well, mess hall, ghost building, barracks, library, rock chimney, store, administration building, cistern, hospital, and officers' quarters. A portion of the official Texas longhorn cattle herd resides here.
