Curing Agents

(also hardeners), substances that cause the hardening of reactive oligomers. Curing agents are divided into three groups, depending on their activity: (1) curing agents in which the molecules react with the functional groups of a given oligomer, thereby being incorporated into the structure of the resultant polymer; (2) initiators; (3) hardening catalysts.
