Dwarf Gourami
(Colisa lalius), an aquarium fish of the suborder Anabantoidei of the order Percomorphi. The males, which are larger than the females, measure up to 6 cm long. Dwarf gourami inhabit the fresh waters of India. The oval body has wavy red and light blue transverse and diagonal stripes; the front part of the belly is light blue. The dorsal and anal fins are very long, and the ventral fins are filamentous. All of the fins except the pectoral fins are edged with a red stripe and have blood red dots.
