cobra maneuver cobra maneuver[′kō·brə mə‚nü·vər] (aerospace engineering) An aircraft maneuver in which the aircraft pitches up to beyond vertical altitude (reaching an angle of 110-130°) while remaining at almost level flight, and them levels to a regular flight attitude.
