Cumulation of Punishments

in Soviet criminal law, the full or partial aggregation of punishments for a person who has committed several crimes. The law establishes a limit that the sum of cumulated punishments cannot exceed. There are two types of cumulation of punishments: one involving cumulation of crimes, the other involving cumulation of sentences.
