Business Council for International Understanding

Also called the BCIU. An organization that encourages dialogue between business and political leaders in different countries. It holds events, briefings and programs for networking and education. Members consist of more than 150 companies; government officials are usually invited to meetings as well. It was established in 1955 with the support of U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower.
